Cloud Data Access Experience

Problem Statement: A new product, called Data Locker, was being defined and created within the Commercial Insights Business at 84.51˚ to better allow users to connect their cloud databases to leverage their data within the Insights product experiences at 84.51˚.

Project Goal: Define a user process flow and design the overall experience for the new Cloud Data Access product.

My Role: I was the Lead User Experience designer for this project and I partnered directly with the Product Owner and Developers to define the overall user experience for this product. I was responsible for delivering user process and flow maps as well as wireframes and mockups.

Information Architecture & User Process Flow

I initially met with the Product Owner to understand what the overall business and user goals for this new product were. After understanding the initial scope of what is needed I defined a map of the information architecture and user process map for the new experience.

MVP User Story Map

From the user process flow I facilitated a workshop with the Product Owner, Lead Developer, Architect and developers on the team to define what the MVP experience would be.

Wireframes

From the user process flow and user story map I designed the wireframes for the MVP workflow. I then created a clickable prototype and showcased it to 2 clients to get feedback and rapid iteration of this first pass of the experience.

Mockups

After getting feedback from the clients on the wireframes we made updates and moved into the mockup stage to provide to the developers so they could start building the MVP experience.
